The Alumni & Development Office has been working to bring the membership of Dundee-Reunited.com a wider and more attractive range of benefits & services.  We have teamed up with Club Marketing Services who specialise in this area and because of their increased 'buying power' is able to bring a substantial number of discounts available across the UK and Ireland. 

How does it work?

You buy a subscription to Membership Plus through the University online store:

• alumni - £10
• student - £5

You will then be issued with a new alumni membership card with the Membership Plus logo on the back.  To find out about current offers you will access the Membership Plus website. 

 First time around you should press the Register button to activate your card.  The site will then allow you to search/browse the directory of offers.  The site will be organised by a number of categories

	Shops & services		Eating out		Accommodation
	Days out		Health & fitness		Holiday home rental
	Golf		Travel

We'll also email you when new offers become available.  Once you've identified an offer that you'd like to take advantage of you simply present your Membership Plus card to the retailer / service provider either at time of purchase or for hotel accommodation at time of booking.  To save adding yet another card to your wallet/purse we will be adding the membership plus details to the back of the alumni membership card.

Where can I save and How much can I save?

We have already signed up almost 200 companies.  We have tried to put together a mix of deals to appeal to staff and the many local alumni in Tayside as well as to alumni everywhere in the UK and Ireland.  We hope there is something from everyone - you will be able to make your own suggestions of companies that you would like to receive discount from and we will do our best to make it happen.

All University profits from the Membership Plus scheme go directly to the Alumni Annual Fund.  So not only you do save money by joining but you are contributing to the support of students in genuine financial hardship and helping to enhance student facilities.
